The "Susie" is our simple half-apron. The Susie falls above or at the knee and has beautiful gathers, just like a genuine Dirndl apron; it can be tied in front or back. Named after my Austrian cousin, Susanna, with whom I spent all my summers playing, it makes you feel like the hills are alive. Like all our designs, the Susie features two spacious pockets for your phone, glasses, and more.

To ensure the longevity of your Rike & Co attire, we recommend washing them in cold water (30 degrees) and air-drying them. Alternatively, you can opt for dry cleaning, offering added convenience while maintaining their pristine condition.

Our styles are available in one size, ensuring that they fit comfortably and flatter most body types.

About Rike & Co

My mother, Rike, was born and raised in Salzburg, Austria, where I spent my summers as a child. My Oma (grandmother) would dedicate her mornings to preparing the quintessential Austrian lunch, and she always wore a "Hauskleid" or housedress. It wasn't about being chic, but rather practical and comfortable.

In my 40s, as I became a parent and co-launched Milk Street with my husband, my focus shifted to spending more time at home, caring for my kids, and seamlessly managing work. This inspired me to create Rike & Co because I desired my own Hauskleid.

I crafted a line of aprons and Hauskleids that you can wear while cooking, entertaining guests, playing with your children, gardening, running errands, and much more. Enjoy your meal, or as we say in Austria, "Mahlzeit."
